My research interests are in the field of computer graphics, image synthesis and visual perception.

Currently I am involved in a project which aim is to manage the reproduction of the colors of printed billboards, set in outdoor and indoor environment, seen under different illumination. The project is made up of different steps. The first consist in turn a CMYK image in a spectral image, using the Neugebauer model. After then there are some other transformation on the image in order to simulate different kind of illumination.

I am also involved in a project concerning the Virtual Theatre set at the Università degli Studi di Milano. The main purporse of this installation is to implement visual and interactive techniques for the simulation of immersive virtual environments. The aim is to integrate photometric and colorimetric principles with models based on visual perception.
